  3. It looks like a fresh take on tablets. I'd use it mostly for socializing and some work related tasks where my phone screen is too small to do properly.

  7. I love the idea of a tablet with enough battery power to be able to charge my other stuff (especially while playing Ingress, of course!). I won a Kindle Fire a while back from something else, and was a bit disappointed - sounds like a Yoga would be a better experience. :)

    1. It handles ingress pretty well even on the 10" screen. It certainly has the battery power to either play for a long time or to keep your phone charged :)

  9. I would use it in either studies or development purposes, I like the design, 18hour battey and the fact that i can charge my mobile with it :p and it sure is going to help because its mobile. wont have to carry my 17incher which i cant carry in my bag since its a lil big so yea itll reduce the weight in my bag :) idk how it would change the way i use a tablet only thing that came in my mind is the way i hold it,

  10. I read one of your posts where you mentioned I believe 18 hours of battery and how long you've been streaming music with only 5 decline in battery. For me that would be awesome especially if I can use it to connect to my work network (I hope it has multiple USB ports) and can last all day without having to stop and charge. I think this may replace having to carry laptop for work and tablet for reading at work. It would lower the weight of my bag and open up some space for lighter stuff.

    1. It does not have multiple USB it will however last all day streaming music (I do it with the screen off and it won't use 10% after a full 8hr work day) I find it very easy to get through a whole day or more. This a device that will keep up with your day and night life on one charge. It is actually surprisingly light. I have held other tablets and this is very light but feels well built.

  11. I like the unique design of it. The spine offers a better grip. I am a mentor for a high school robotics team. One of the kids is building an app to help with our scouting and game strategy during competitions. It would be great to have a Lenovo Yoga tablet to run it on. The microSD slot can store enough data for all the robotics teams and the camera can be used to take pictures of the robots. Last year, we used paper and pencil and doing it on a tablet would be a great improvement. Thank you for your consideration.

  16. I dig the battery life and different viewing modes!

  17. I love the battery life and I like how it's designed

  18. I love that it is versatile and has two modes, the stand and the tilt which is by far the best looking tablet with functionality and the 18 hr battery life is a big plus. I love that. I was actually looking into a tablet that can be as versatile as my family's life, one that can be a tool rather than a distraction. A tool with all the apps that are available to help my son pick up his grades in math, reading and even writing...and bring out his creative side too. My daughter doesn't struggle in school, but she could use it as as resource for researching her science projects or for assignments. Mom and Dad (especially Dad, that's me) would use it to read and stay up to date with all the tech news and resources. Also, as a way to stay in contact with the other family members as well. A versatile tablet for a versatile family!

  19. As an educator in the public school system, the

growing demand of technology puts teachers in a

position where they have to be as efficient as

possible in data entry. One particular data entry

tool used for students is called engrade, a data

base in which teachers enter assessment data on

students as well as post assignments that can be

    accessed through individual student accounts.

Teachers in my school use this database daily, and

there has been a large demand for class materials

such as SMART Boards and Tablets.

On a teacher's budget, the Yoga Tablet is quite

gentle on the wallet I feel compared to many other

tablets in the market right now. Starting at$250-

$300, I feel like you get your money's worth when

you consider its Quad core Processor. Any teacher

would find this a suitable replacement for a work

laptop. Additionally there is battery life and

weight consolidation to consider with the yoga

tablet. One side which contains the speakers allows

you to comfortably hold the tablet single handedly

like a clipboard which is useful in doing data

entry on students during real time assessments and

conferences where you can give pointers to the

students while also writing data about their

progress. One thing teachers have particular issues

with on their laptops is battery life. A regular

school day lasts about 7 hours and the yoga tablet

consolidates power very well it seems, so much that

you could probably do 3 full work days before you

would actually need to charge it. I find the Yoga

tablet to be a worthy investment as an educator.
